IDT at NXTwest

WHAT IS IDT?

IDT (Intense Discipleship Training) is a five-week program for JHI and High School students designed to provide connection and community. Being a part of IDT allows students to engage their hearts and minds, use their hands to serve, and helps to create disciples!

HOW DOES IDT WORK?

IDT is broken into two tracks based on grade. Each track encourages the learning of basic Christian truths while providing hands-on experiences to make those truths meaningful. Along with a choice of scripture journal for personal study, students also get to choose a devotional or study book so they can go deeper in their relationship with Jesus.

Tracks meet during every IDT session and each Track has a complimentary experience. High School Students can register for RD overnight and JHI students can register for Delta Chi.

IDT SESSION SCHEDULE

IDT sessions (for every track) meet Wednesday nights from 4 to 9 PM (attending NXT Wednesday night service is part of the IDT experience). Each session includes small group discussion, prayer, worship, and some amazing guest speakers! Weekly dinners are included with registration.

AMPLIFY TRACK

JHI students will take 4 weeks to learn the essentials of God, The Bible, The Church, and our purpose. Students will also be invited to read the Gospel of Mark.

PEACE TRACK

High School students will explore the Apostle Paul’s masterpiece and one of the finest works of all time, the book of Romans. Be introduced to this revolutionary book that has shaken civilizations! For those seeking to really challenge themselves - Juniors and Seniors have the option of selecting an in depth study guide.
